Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best-selling in Saxophones
Adore this horn. I bought a refurbished A 901 last year and loved it -hooked me on the superior quality of the Yani. When I decided to upgrade my tenor I knew there was no need to look further. The TW01 plays with full and perfectly pitched intonation from top to bottom. Rare for saxes in general. From the high F# to the low Bb all the notes are easily accessed and blown. Had my sax guy run through it (after I'd played it for a couple weeks with no set up issues that I noted) and he asked if I'd gotten it used because he'd felt there was virtually no adjustment needed. He observed it to be a testament to the brand's quality to play like does straight "from the box". And this was over $200 cheaper than any other sellers I found.

Yanagisawa and Yamaha make the best saxophones and I bought both brands from BrassBarn. Each time the expected date was multiple weeks but with such a great deal I bought from them anyway and STILL got it within 3 to 4 days. Nothing like expecting it on Oct 7 and getting it before the first even! Awesomeness!

The Yanagisawa base line tenor (TWO1) is definitely a finer instrument than my old 1965 Selmer Mark IV. Bigger, fatter sound. Much more in tune also. Craftsmanship and engineering are impeccable. I think the only thing better would be the TWO10.

I bought the Yani Tenor from brass barn about one year ago. It plays so fine!! And the brass barn is a very safe, reliable, and responsive place to buy. If you are even thinking about picking one of these horns up, stop hesitating and do it now!! You will not regret it.

Let's just say that this sax is way better than I am.
