Korn seem to have lost their originality with the decline of the nu-metal genre, but their superb detuned riffs and passionate vocals will always find a place in this reviewers heart. The seething mass of fans who missed their performance at Download this June as they could not squeeze 80,000 fans into a microbial marquee whilst everyones favourite EMO band fell flat on the main stage (My Chemical Rubbish)showed how popular they remain in the psyche of so many metal fans. This best of album is a great purchase for younger fans seeking to fathom the bands past, and is a must-have for all metalheads who don't have all Korns albums in their collection. The inclusion of Word Up is a slight worry, but can be forgiven. A great cd from a great band.
