I bought this because I am a keen table tennis player. So far as i am aware there has never been any other film that devotes itself to ping pong. The film lived up to my expectations - which is to say that it is very much tongue in cheek. Christopher Walken lends it an air of respectability that would have been otherwise absent. It is rather thin on plot but then what do you expect? The storyline leans heavily on 1970s Kung Fu films with a rather thin humour. Overall it held my attention and made me chuckle from time to time. The laws of both the game of Table Tennis and physics are ignored. Balls of Fury is one of the biggest load of balls that I've seen this year - but fun.
Tis film was hilariously funny!! It is about a professional ping pong player who suffers severe embarrassment which causes him to cease playing. He is then tracked down by the FBI needing him to help hem with an important mission. This mission takes them deep into the underground world of ping pong. Christopher Walken is a criminal that the FBI need to take down, he is also the head of the ping pong underworld. With the help of their new pro they play their 'balls' to the death!!! Recommended, I promise it will make you laugh!
This is like the one of the comedys of the year. It is suitable for children and adults 12 and above.It is well preformed and it lives up to the phrase it says on the front a huge comedy with tiny balls...
Genuinely refreshing comedy about an olympic table tennis player gone sour. Gloriously funny, with an amazing cast. Dan Fogler is an incredibly amusing actor and when put together with the breathtakingly beautiful Maggie Q and the irresistibly likable and talented Christopher Walken, all performing to their very best you have an outstanding, feel good comedy classic. The Def Leppard soundtrack is epic and truly ties a bow firmly atop this hilarious package.
