These drives are very fast and easy to install.
These are very fast drives next best thing to SSDs very easy to install but do make sure that you buy the latest Sata 111 or 6Gbs and not the Sata 11 of which there is a lot around, also that your motherboard is also Sata 111 or 6Gbs or you will not get the full benefit of the overal speed of these drives. When you get these drives it is also beneficial to register these with Western Digital where you will find a lot more information about the drives and how to install them and reinstall your windows.These are very fast drives next best thing to SSDs very easy to install but do make sure that you buy the latest Sata 111 or 6Gbs and not the Sata 11 of which there is a lot around, also that your motherboard is also Sata 111 or 6Gbs or you will not get the full benefit of the overal speed of these drives. fast and fairly cheap (i think so any way ), the 500 gb is the way to go as far as storage size is concerned and at 10000 rpm and 6 gb a second transfer. . . well that speaks for its self. If you short arm the drive when fist installing (partitioning) then the operating system and most frequently used programs can be put on the outer part of the drive and get consistently blistering fast read and write speeds with next to no falloff. the other partition holds everything else and still out preforms most other NON solid state drives. this is the way to go until solid state drives become more reliable and cheaper.fast and fairly cheap (i think so any way ), the 500 gb is the way to go as far as storage size is concerned and at 10000 rpm and 6 gb a second transfer. . . well that speaks for its self. Great harddrive for a great price, well worth the money!
Best hard drive on the market. Quick, stable and reasonably quiet considering it's 10000rpm. If you don't want to pay out for an SSD drive just yet this is a great alternative. It's almost as quick but a lot cheaper per GB. I'd recommend it to anyone :)
