I have many many Makita batterie powered tools, screw gun, drill, sawmill, grinder, jigsaw, circular saw, sander, and by far I am most impressed with the Makita Weed cutter and the Makita 12" Chainsaw. Those tools are fabulous, and the higher capacity 4.0 Ah batteries give you all the power and long working times you could want. Do be sure that your tools are suited for the larger capacity batteries, a lot of older Makita tools ( those without a Star or Yellow power connector block ) can only take the 3.0Ah

Ok so the description i read said 170 degree view. UMMMM definitely not!!! 120 degree-130 degree at best!! So that being said the picture quality is good just wish it went a bit wider because the camera does not angle out enough it makes the back up lines on screen inaccurate. I'm just glad to be able to see better backing up...... but don't rely on it for bumping corners of your bumpers on things.

I have purchased 2 non Makita battery's and they did not have even half of the run time in my tools that the Makita battery's do. Now I only buy Makita battery's, I have about 20 Makita battery's now and only one of them is not working well I use it in a light and that way I still get use out of it. Some of my Makita battery's and tools were purchased in 2008 and the only tool (1/2 inch drill) that failed is my fault, big 6 inch hole saw that fried my drill but it did cut the hole for me. Makitas 18v batteries are the best high performance batteries out on the market. I have most brands cordless tools and batteries and I always go back to the makitas. For the length of charge and high output and longevity of the battery itself they are definitely worth it. Makita is the way to go.

This battery is long lasting, durable, and fairly light for the amount of run time you get out of it. I have several of these and choose them for their combination of weight to run time and cost. The larger one I have is reserved for heavy duty use and the small ones I have are used primarily for "on ladder" use where the drill or impact driver is hanging on my tool belt and the lighter the better. But for all around use, this is my "go to" battery and that's why I have several of them on the truck.
