Bikes with digital displays should have this fitted from the dealership from day one. Excellent product, highly recommended.
At first i thought it would be just like any other smartphone screen protector, you get what you pay for. I've paid for far more expensive tempered glass and shock protection for my smartphone which have failed spectacularly in a short time or with minimal impact. I Also wasn't sure what to expect with the speedo protector or how far it would protect the speedo. I was wrong. Speaking from seen experiences, many of my riding buddies have this speedo protector for their TFT / multicoloured / LCD speedos and this will definitely protect against scratches and stone chips. My only regret was not installing this on my previous bike with a digital display as after 5 years it had lots of minor scratches which require polishing and buffering to maintain its clarity. One buddy had a big off which involved his steed flipping over with all his touring gear, and basically the dash surround suffered some gouges but the screen display was intact. the protector was damaged though but peeled off just fine. Installation is a breeze. This product comes with clear instructions with pictures and in colour, and its mostly straight forward. As a tip i use diluted windshield washer fluid which seems to reduce the bubbles under the protector. I am usually very clumsy with such delicate work but this was really easy, partly because this is a quality product and it even came with the squidgee and cloth, basically everything you will need to fit the protector on with minimal fuss. i actually delayed installing this thinking it would be very finicky and would involve a lot of swearing. Again wrong on both counts. Took all of 5 minutes including opening the package contents and preparing the diluted windshield solution. Overall am very happy with this product. The instruction even says there is a small gap but its hardly noticable. once applied it fits very well. The display is definitely not impeded or blurred in anyway, which is what some reviews / feedback mention. If you didn't know it was there you wouldn't notice it until someone told you and you looked very very closely.
