Good solid tool and seems well made, no rough edges or badly cut threads, where they have spent the money making the tool they have saved it on the case which is quite frankly of lower quality than most milk bottles. This is just an observation, not a criticism, and let’s be honest, if they need to cut corners to keep the cost down, this is where to do it.

the over all look of it is ok , but when you try to use it you will find you cant unscrew it from the rivet and it will unscrew its self apart from the Threaded mandrel , this is due to the inner pulling cam in the tool being made of soft steel and becoming deformed and binding against the body of the tool, I used it to fit M8 inserts in the back of a VW van bodywork so it wasn't as if I was asking too much from the tool as the bodywork is less than 2mm thick, I would pay a bit more and go for a trusted branded one

The metal used in construct of this tool seems ok apart from where the MANDREL screwed into riveter metal is far too soft and MANDREL bit just pull's out when slight pressure is applied to crimp the nut, the design is poor and would advise avoid this type of tool don't wast your money. I wouldn’t use this type again. Some cheap tools are ok but not this one!

Mechanism to extrude the nuts is two small circular rivet which actuates the extruder pin, These rivets are poorly fixed to the handle, of insufficient depth to actuate the extruder pin and aren't hardened. It failed after about 6 nut inserts, with the handle bending open so the rivets don't actuate the pin. I disassembled the unit, bent the handle to the correct section again, and by inserting two spacers I could keep the rivets actuating - just. NB all of my nutserts were M8 - I suspect it might be ok for the smaller size threads. It did the job I bought it for, but only after intervention on my part. Not a particularly robust design in my view. A shame

Use it a couple of time, did its purpose. Though the puller got a left hand thread which got tendency to unscrew as you screw it on the rivet-nut. Make sure this is in place properly as otherwise it will strip its thread and then become unusable.... I've ended up doing the other with a screw, washer and nut kinda setup. Plus the tool is not pulling strong enough to get it fitted on a thin piece of metal.
