It's a practical product for a great value once it's fully assembled. The instructions are easy to follow with many pieces to insure a proper fit to your TV. However, it was a huge pain to rip off a thin plastic film on the base of the stand before assembly could begin -- it took me about an hour to remove the plastic film.

The televisions I have were small 32" tvs. They had a hole span that just barely fit these stands. In fact, on one of them I had to cut the top of the brackets off to keep them from showing. If you have a tv at or smaller than 32" you may want to consider a different stand. However, it does work well and is priced right.

It's a solid universal stand made for any TV within it's size parameters. The base has a very fragile plastic layer that should be removed prior to assembly. Removal was tedious. Took 15 min to remove it before I could begin assembly. Rubber feet are poorly attached. Had to use contact cement.

Despite all the negative reviews of this stand, i still bought it. It came with mutile sized bolts to fit mt tvs application. It waa super easy to put together myself (55" LG) and its held together awesome. Ive had it for about 2 or 3 weeks now. I also love the swivel mount and different height settings it gives. Awesome value.

Out of the box, the stand was only mountable to the specified Philips TV on the shortest setting of the three. To get it to be a truly UNIVERSAL stand I had to drill additional holes in the bracket and purchase additional longer screws and many washers to place in between the back of the TV and the frame of the base. I was then able to place the TV on any one of the three different height settings. Very few things are truly universal.
