Unbelievable for the price....at the moment anyway. Ive owned the watch for 2 months and there is nothing bad to say about it. The watch face is large and occassionaly, when bending my wrist the alarm gets set. The watch strap is rubber and not silicon. I would think that after a year or so of use, the strap might split, but at this price no-one can complain at that. It is very confortable and not as heavey as you would think.

This watch is absolutely fabulous and brilliant value for money! It arrives in a gift box, which is adequate, but it's not really the box we are interested in. Upon opening the box, the watch is revealed along with a user manual and registration card. The watch is covered in some sort of protective cling-wrap that needs to be removed. The first thing that strikes you is the weight and quality of the watch. It's really heavy and seems very well made. The watch is big and chunky so if you don't like chunky watches then this isn't for you. I was a bit concerned at this point because the minute hand was quite floppy, tip the watch back and forth and the hand moved by about 10 minutes either way - useless! Or so I thought...once you remove the tab from underneath the adjustment crown all the hands lock into place, so nothing to worry about and not a fault. The watch manual is useless and gives no info on setting the watch. You need to go to the Shark watch website, track down the Porbeagle watch and download the manual from there. The manual on the website is pretty darn good. The watch also comes with a plastic card with a serial number on it. If you register your watch using this serial number they'll extend your warranty from 12 months to 18 months, which is a bonus. Once set it appears to keep good time and has lots of nice features. Quite why it has the points of the compass marked round the dial I don't know as it doesn't have a compass built in. I suppose it's a style thing. The back of the watch is engraved (Laser etched?) with useful info such as part number etc..etc. which I always find to be a good sign with respect to quality. When a watch manufacturer is looking to save money one of the first things that goes out the window is engraving. In short, if you are into chunky, engineered watches then this is an absolute bargain. Thoroughly recommended.Read full review

This has turned out better that expected, although few instructions. The only thing is the Pin holding the boys buckle has popped out once, but that was in a work environment. Would definitely recommend watch for value

Did I expect this watch to be as good as it is for the price that I paid? No I definitely didn't ! It is chunky, stylish and certainly looks as if it cost more than the £14.99p that I paid for it ! How long will it continue working ? That I can't answer, but at the moment it is still ticking away and I am very pleased with my purchase.

I have many watches and display them in a display box, this one stands out... people notice it when on my wrist. At the moment it's my favourite watch... looks even better on your wrist then on the screen... buy it you will not be disappointed. I have a few Shark watches... this one I think is the best looking, it's strap is different from the rest as well.
