I think this is now an older model, they had to clear way for units costing 2-3 times as much! I just need an alert for danger, nothing else. This has the easy mounting, reliability and typical mounting size. Everything else is nonsense.

I have 6 of these installed, one was chirping every so often for no apparent reason. The detectors are about 2 years old. They are all hardwired and the backup batteries all checked good. Replaced the chirping one with this and now all 6 are just fine again.
