This may have only 2 out of 4 of the HMDI ports running at full fat 4K, but the image quality and the amount of settings available are incredible for this entry level OLED, even the sound is very good for a flat panel. I use a sound bar and sub set up, but before I could set this up, the sound was running from the built in speakers and I was surprised by the quality. The upscaling is very good, watching a 1080p movie looked good but not as sharp as true 4K but still impressive. Setting up the TV is intuitive and familiar if you owned a Panny previously. The only thing that lets this TV down is the cheap/light feeling silver coloured remote that it ships with, I bought the Panasonic N2QAYA000153 Remote that ships with the Panasonic TX-55FZ952B, same remote but made from brushed metal and back-lit buttons with a decent weight to it.Read full review

This is really hard to say, but people give this TV top reviews and say it works well out of the box. I am a fan of Panasonic TVs but this falls short of my expectations. I have to keep in mind that I am coming from a Plasma originally which does an excellent job of dealing with regular TV, and then a brilliant job of displaying HD channels (Sky or FreeSat). So the benchmark is high! Comparatively the OLED TV here struggles with a below par signal, and even a touch with HD channels - very disappointing. So much for 'working out of the box'. It also really shows up picture abnormalities - watching the Dark Knight Bluray I can see weird ghosting that I can just barely see on my Panny Plasma. It handles gaming just fine and I get no motion blur. Colours are massively vivid - too much for me but I'll fettle the settings. It maybe a fault of these 'refurbished' TVs, but mine had a broken cable-tidy - no big worry. But more worrying is that the TV stand is very flimsy - this is an incredibly heavy TV, and the stand just about seems up to the job, but getting it level is faffy. The cable 'flap' is also a joke, I cannot see cables fitting in and the flap going back on - just take it off. I think aesthetically the TV looks nice, or at least is not too obtrusive. The remote feels a tiny bit nicer than usual, and being Panasonic works well. The menus are more responsive than other Panny products I own, nearly even slick! Glad I didn't pay full retail price!Read full review
