Great idea for saving space and storage for a bike. Make sure you get it fixed to some joists otherwise you'll be pulling down the ceiling! The only irritation is that the supplied cord is quite thin. Yes, it supports the bike fine, but it slips too easily out of the pulleys especially as there is quite a gap between the pulley and its casing. You then find yourself straining to haul your bike up using the cord running roughly over the rod the pulley runs on. It works but you have to be careful.

We bought the product few weeks ago to put it in our house, it works really well but! There is one but :-) we decided to buy new better rope for it as the one supplied with the pulley looks like cheap long shoe lace! And doesn't do the job. When we put a new rope it works much better therefore 4*
