bought this for a gift.excellent quality and very competitive price.if you like Mrs brown, its something you can enjoy over and over again.would buy more like it.
First saw this on BBC1 earlier on this year, and nearly fell off the chair laughing at it! It's probably the funniest thing to hit the screen in a very, very long time. Highly recommended - as long as you don't mind some bad language (in the case of this programme, it adds to the humour rather than detracting from it!)and it's even better on Blu-ray - clearer images, better sound: totally brilliant! Brendan O'Carroll (Mrs. Brown) is a total genius, and the vast majority of the cast are family members - Kathy is his wife in 'real' life (have a look on the internet for further info). Really looking forward to the second series, due on screen sometime this autumn/winter. Brilliant, old-fashioned comedy, from an age when 'alternative' didn't exist - just good old belly laughs all the way!
I bought this dvd after watching one of the episodes of series two, and listening to other people saying how good it was. There isn't one bad thing about this dvd it made me laugh till i nearly cried all the way through. I believe this could end up being a classic along with such comedy greats such as only fools and horses, or fawlty towers. The fact they leave in the the bits that usualy end up on outakes tv is genius, so funny if it dont make you laugh book an appointment with your doctor as there may be something wrong with you.
Bought for my mother great bluray hours of fun and looks great in HD didn't stop laughing. Recommend to anyone looking forward to seeing series two now.
