Certainly the cheaper end of the market when it comes to Wifi Extender but it does the job as described! Very quick and easy to set up, within 2 minutes i was online. Can be temperamental from time to time, i will try to connect and it will show as limited connection to the internet? have to reset and reconnect but this only takes 2 minutes so its not a big issue! Range / Signal, i have it working over approx 10m difference through a couple of walls and works great. Hub would only show 1 bar signal, run very slow, this has solved all those problems! 4/5 simply because in the 2 months i have had it, i have had to re-set it twice... but like i said. not a big issue, 2 minutes max!

Very simple to use and works without any difficulty, and very good value for what it is. Except, that is, it doesn't seem to be able to deliver high performance. My home broadband is 50Mbps fibre to the house, but when using this product, the best I can get even when in close proximity to the main router is about 4Mbps. It's range is fine but performance is limited. to achieve both range and performance, I think it would be necessary to spend a lot more money, so this one is fine if performance is not an issue for you.

I chose this over units twice the price as my needs are simple. I need to be able to use my tablet at the end of the garden and in the garage. I guess that is about 50 - 60 feet, maybe more. It's plugged into a mains socket high on the kitchen wall so the signal has just one wall to penetrate and I get a very good signal where I need it. Setup was easy although I'd like to change the name from 'Wi-Fi Repeater' but can't see how to do that, even if it's possible, a very small niggle. For the price I recommend this.

The design is nice as it tends to blend into the surroundings. It's easy to set-up and give a stable WIFI signal. The reason it lost a star is because of the weak plug-in area. If care isn't taken when plugging it in and removing it I think it can easily be broken but then it's still good for the price.

This booster does work, not as simple as another I have which just plugs in and works with no settings or any other complications. With this unit you have to connect to an IP address and set it to match your router details (passwords etc), a bit fiddly but not impossible. It does work but I bought it to get a signal in my workshop as the main router drops in and out when I'm in there, I connected this some 10 metres closer to the workshop and there is no benefit at all. Having said that I do have thick old stone walls to deal with and I never have a socket in the right place either. The main disadvantage, because of the way it works, is that you may get a strong signal in one room but a weaker one in another but unless the repeater drops out altogether your device probably won't change to the stronger signal automatically. Do I want to fart about changing which device I get my wi-fi through? no! - But not a problem if you are seeking to boost a desktop that does not move about. Would I buy another, no I think I'd spend a bit more and get a plug'n'go model. Hope this helps someone.Read full review
