This item works fine despite the thermal paste spill in the CPU socket. As the vendor noted - the paste is non-conductive & does it not seem to have any negative effect on MB performance (so far). - I installed an AMD 6300-FX CPU with 16GB of DDR3 & it booted immediately into the BIOS. - I purchased this MB to install in a backup & storage PC - so use will be regular but not necessarily constant. - NOTE: It's perhaps not a good idea to dispatch fragile items like MBs in recycled detergent packets! It's no doubt environmentally sound (& cost effective) - & although the MB was securely packaged - some of the fine powder had got onto the board. - Hence only Four Stars

I have owned one of these boards before and found it to be reliable and up for all games until a faulty PSU ended it's life, my recent purchase seems fine so far. I do miss the on board graphics which came in useful at times but all in all I am very pleased with it.

Disappointing in that I didn't expect it to be quite that old - for instance, on renewal of BIOS it reverts to 2008 and ten years old is really pushing computer equipment. However, it works perfectly well and came with an owner's manual and original disk and, at the price paid I suppose it was a fairly reasonable buy.
