The item came securely boxed and easy to access through packaging. The instructions basic but then the process was quite straightforward. Getting the cover off the bell push was a bit tricky (need a bit of brute force with a small screwdriver) and again to close the unit but after reopening a few times you get the hang of it, I did think the bell push would stay illuminated but the light only appears on pressing it. I used the sticky pad which seems quite robust but it does come with screws. The plug in units are small and nicely illuminated with a blue light which some may find a bit bright but I think it is okay. I see what people mean about some of the chimes with the oriental female voice (quite strange in fact), I just stuck to the regular 'ding dong'. It took me a few tries to alter the volume of ring and I can only seem to get soft or loud - can't find the third level. Only down side was the bell push battery was dead but luckily I had the one from the old bellRead full review

If you live in a small house and site the bell no more than 10 metres from the button it will work fine. However I bought this on the basis that the range was advertised as up to 150 metres but in reality it's nothing like that much even in open ground with no obstacles. So if you place the bell in your back garden shed it will be too far from your front door button to work. It will however work within a small house or flat, which for many buyers will be OK. The listing should have told the truth about the range.

Great product and very easy to fit. This is the third bought. One for myself and 2 others for relations who needed new door bells fitted. Would highly recomment. It also makes an ideal little night light.

This is a budget mains powered wireless bell system which allows two ringers to work from the same bell push. I bought it because it stated a 150m range. However, I have an old house with thick walls and the one farthest from the bell push doesn't ring, despite being only 20m in a straight line from the bell push. Luckily the bell is very loud, so the furthest one can (just) be heard. I was disappointed (but then I was disappointed that the last one I bought didn't work in the same position, either.). It will probably be fine in a modern house, which doesn't have two and three foot thick walls like mine.

Quite amazed at what you get for the money. It certainly works OK and if all you need is a wireless bell system then it does that. The melodies are a bit suspect and do sound a bit Chinese doll like but there a few which are fine.
