I bought this to use for practice when travelling around with a camp trailer, and it's great for that. The different models and effects are amazing, but the speaker is just so-so. It's plenty loud and works a long time on batteries. It's a good value and seems very rugged, but it's not really the best sound for gigging, if you're looking for that.

I use this modeling amp plugged in at home and outside powered by the batteries. I can get the sounds that would otherwise require several peds and it has a mic with volume control plug also. I looked a many others before I bought the Line 6 and I know that I made the right choice.

Works for what it offers at a great price via eBay. Knobs are a bit cheap feeling (wiggly). I haven't used it enough to know whether perhaps one of the knobs for the special effects does not turn completely to the OFF position. But the extra buyer protection insurance, which was very inexpensive, is something I suppose I could draw on for a remedy, so I am not worried about it. Easy to get too much feedback if things are dialed in just right. By comparison the Fender Passport Mini seems a tad more solid and flexible, since it has two different styles of mic input jacks and the knobs are more positive in their action.

I have the regular sized version of this amp but I wanted something that was slightly more portable so the Mico spider is just that. Also the micro slider can be plugged or or battery powered so it's great for taking it on the go.

This is a great little practice amp. The fact that it runs on batteries or can be plugged in to a wall socket makes it very versatile. The built in tuner and the impressive sound controls really make this a winner. I needed a small practice amp like this for practice sessions at various locations with the small group I play with. The ability to plug in a microphone at the same time a guitar is plugged in, and control the mic volume separately is really nice.
