    Best Star Trek series hands down.

    Best Star Trek series ever. I watched this series when it first aired and I have waited to add it to my DVD collection for some time now. This seems to be the best available release and a Blu ray release would at this point not be expected. Lots of suspense and surprises. Character development has a lot of depth that keeps you interested as the series progresses from one season to the next. No scuffs or scratches on DVDs whatsoever. DVDs are stacked on "hubs' or "spindles." This type of stacking is not the best packaging because it can lead to radial arc or circular scratches. Such scratches are what cause skips and freezes. When these occur they can be removed with a "DVD/CD/BluRay" scratch remover that can be found via any Internet search.
