I must admit that when I orderd this product, I had absolutely no faith in it what so ever, just thought I would be waisting my money. When it came I just thought it looked cheep and tacky, but my goodness.....respect I put it in the window and just waited. As soon as my dog ( who is always in the window barking constantly at other dogs and people who walk past ) started barking she got straight of the sofa and just "grumbled" up to now she has stopped going mad and just silently growls. I just hope it continues. Might try taking it on walks.

Written to supplier twice regarding looks like product does not work and asking how do you know if it is operational as there is no power light to tell you it is on or the battery is flat and surely it cannot be that if the dog doesn't bark it's working and if it does bark it needs a battery change and as yet have still not received any reply.

It didn't work for us but wasn't prepared to pay anymore on dearer units which claimed to do the same. There's no way of testing that it lets out the high pitched noise. It just looks like a plastic box that you put batteries in. It has an on/off button, a high/low button and a light. Does it work? Not in our case!

I don't believe this item works at all it certainly don't for my dogs funny how when they bark they don't even look at the box surely if a high pitched sound was coming from it they would see where sound coming from it's cheap made and not even a light to say working

Granted this product is cheap enough. However there is no indication whether it is in working mode or not as there is no bleep or led indicator. Because of the above You have no way of knowing if the battery is dead or working. Obviously the "noise" is not supposed to be audible to the human ear - so you are in the dark as to whether it is actually doing anything or not. I bought 6 of these in one go to strategically place around our property without knowing this information at the time - and now wished I hadn't.
