It's a filter, for oil. It's an oil filter. I'm very happy with this oil filter and its oil filtering capabilities. It arrived packed, which leads me to suspect someone packed it, I can't comment on said persons character, I can however vouch for their packing skills, they're good. Much like my first son, it arrived on time and undamaged but fortunately It didn't take 9 months, and there was no screaming, or blood.
