I've recently moved all of my computer equipment into a box bedroom but hit an immediate problem. My WiFi connection through my WiFi dongle was awful. Actually, it was non-existent. It seems that these box bedrooms around where I live all have the same problem, it's as if they are lead lined or something! Tried a new and more powerful WiFi dongle - failed miserably. Works when it chooses. Sometimes I have to plug it in 4-5 times before it chooses to give me power. Other times I plug it in and instead of charging it give the icon but my battery % is going down.
