The transition from the Syd Barret era and the Dark Side of the Moon was awkward for Floyd, with several mis-steps and failed experiments, This album illustrates that situation perfectly. However there some gems, the live songs from the Syd era. However only 2 tracks from the transition period are worth mentioning, Furry Animals with a Pict is notable for its quirkyness and amusement value. The standout track has to be Granchester Meadows. Dedicated Floyd fans should have this, if only to chart the change in Floyd's musical journey.

A discordant style which is not pleasant to listen to. It's the result of an aggressive approach to art
