One of the best vacuums I've bought, works very well both with water suction or as a general vacuum,however, there better dry air filters that are compatible to fit this brilliant vacuum other than the cloth type supplied.

I bought this machine to clean most of my house following major renovation (still on-going). It arrived with a bag filter, which I removed and fitted a Cartridge filter (PC200CFL). The bag may have worked well (I'll find out later), but the suction is awesome using the cartridge! I expected it to work well on hard surfaces and it does. It lifts pieces of brick and masonry the size of large marbles with no problem. So far (6-8 hours work over 2-3 days) it has not choked with the fine dust one gets with house extension work (it gets everywhere). I was surprised however, at how good it was at cleaning carpets (I've had poor experience with other cleaners). Once I had realised that it works best by drawing the extension brush towards you at the correct angle rather than pushing it backwards and forwards like an upright, it cleaned very dirty carpets effectively.Read full review

Have used this machine several times since purchase and am very pleased with it's overall performance.Although a tad noisier than others in its class it does the job very well and at a relatively cheap price.The only drawback is the price of replacement paper bags,they are far dearer at £7 each than other comparable cleaners and possibly a deal breaker when choosing a new vac.
