Whatever you do make sure you know what you are doing when you buy a Yamaha item. If you buy new from a non Yamaha dealer, Yamaha will not honour the guarantee, if you have an old item that breaks (and they do with monotonous regularity especially if your power is unreliable even when you have surge protectors) Yamaha don't want to know. If you try to get it fixed by a third party it'll cost the earth so my recommendation would be to buy from some other manufacturer. I thought their kit was good until I started having issues after I went with it big style, now I wouldn't touch it with a bargepole unless very cheap and for parts to try to make something work. Avoid their stuff at all costs unless you're an electronics engineer or a masochist with too much money! After sales service is an alien concept to Yamaha in their domestic Hi Fi and Home Cinema division. If you think I'm alone in my opinions just check out the audiophile forums!
