AERIAL / ANTENNA BRACKETS
I ordered 2 of these brackets as they didn't look strong enough for the job in hand from the advert pictures to use just the one. (More due to size and weight of my antenna) I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box. 2 extremely well made brackets with excellent welds and coated in a grey paint so they not only looked tidy, they also have some protection against the elements. I've been using amateur radio and Cb radio since the 70's and always built my own brackets...I will now be recommending that my fellow radio operators order these instead as they are excellent Thank youI ordered 2 of these brackets as they didn't look strong enough for the job in hand from the advert pictures to use just the one. Unfit for purpose
Item advertised as suitable for "external" use. This is rubbish. The item is made from black steel with a coat of grey paint. Because of the construction it is not possible to coat the hidden surfaces with the paint so the exposed metal will inevitably rust. This item looks good in the photograph (similar to other brackets which are advertised as galvanised) but how can a painted up replica be the same??
