when i was searching for a sub unit for my home cinema i came across this yamaha and did a bit of research and it was rated reasonably well.when it turned up i was suprised by the size and wieght,it felt solid and well constructed .after a simle set up and easy connection to my av amp i was amazed by the quality of bass and its performance, its a down firing sub so it has to be raised up not sat on the floor.simple two heavy wieght L shaped brackets fitted to the wall behind my flat screen and away yo go . overall this sub sounds fantastic and performs very well .
For its size, this sub packs a punch. Maybe lacking in the ability for the ‘ultra low’ frequencies, but overall it adds a good depth to the sound, and takes the strain away from the main speakers to allow them to concentrate on the mid and high frequencies.

As in subject. Within this price range (up to £70), there is no competition what so ever for this brilliant piece of engineering. Bass is crisp and loud. Very good quality. Recommended!

I bought a new 65 inch tv and although i had a suround system ,i changed the layout. I bought a new dolby atmos amp, kept my 2 floorstanding front speakers and centre speaker. I added 2 small ceiling facing speakers and the sound was great. The only thing missing was a subwoofer. After looking through reviews decided on this. Its good looking and can fit under units and has completed my set up, quite happy with it.

Amazing SUB for it's price. Really well defined lows and adjustable "boom". Only downsize is if you have neighbours below you....they will probably complain as this is a floor unit but that is not a bad thing, it means it kicks ass
