The Velbon CX-888 tripod is made of aluminum for a lightweight yet sturdy design. This pan head tripod fixes the head in place for a secure fit, which also allows the photographer to pan out further for greater detail in the photos taken. This Velbon tripod is rather lightweight at 1.3 kg (2.87 lbs). It also has a maximum height extension of 145 cm (57.09 inches). A minimum height extension of 46 cm (18.11 inches) allows this Velbon tripod to store and travel easily. Each leg contains four sections for easy adjustments between photos, and the leg diameter for this device is 23.2 mm. Along with the lightweight design of the Velbon CX-888 tripod, it can withstand a maximum load of 5 kg (11.02 lbs). This works great for a beginner photographer who is using an average-sized camera. Accessories can be easily attached onto this pan head tripod as well. Quick-release cross section features allow the user to break down this Velbon tripod in a hurry.
