Based on the BBC drama of the same name, this Lifetime project is about a group of female college friends still together long after graduation Liked the series on TV comparisons between Sex & The City and Mistresses and I for one see they have nothing in common apart from the fact that both series have 4 main female leads. All 4 actresses in this are outstanding.Sarah Parish in particular plays 'vunerable'for a change rather than the fiesty man eater roles we are used to seeing her in.Shelly Conn,Orla Brady & Sharon Small are also great, loved Sharon Small in Glasgow Kiss but I have never come across the other 2 in anything else but I am now a firm fan. What a fab series this is.I truly cared about each of these women and every episode left me wanting more. I watched the entire series in 2 afternoons and I will certainly be getting Series 2 quick smart. If you like your dramas with more than a dash of laughter and the odd tear or two this is deffo for you Product was exactly what I wanted, very satisfiedRead full review
If you enjoy strong female character drama then you must watch this - it is brilliant. Move through the trial and tribulations of four female characters, their lives and loves. It's so good that we have binged watched it and are on Series 3 now. You won't be disappointed.

Really enjoyed watching this as I never managed to watch it on TV. An entertaining series about the entangled lives of four thirty something professional and successful women which proves that men come and go but women friends are for keeps and these are the more enduring relationships in life.

Brilliant series, they took the first series to get into their roles, I enjoyed the first series so much I had to buy the second, which I enjoyed even more. Will have to buy the third and final one. Yes there is a bit of bed hopping, but essentially I think the message is that they become Mistresses of their own lives, it is really a Gang of Four which no doubt a lot of women can attune to. Each character is different, and I am sure each and every woman can relate to something in one of them. Very realistic portrayal of four totally different women. Why they cut it short on the third series I don't know, but from what I can gather BBC have a habit of doing that. Thoroughly recommend viewing when you are on your own,or for a girls night in, no men around. If you are like me, I couldn't restrict myself to one episode a night, it grabs you and you don't want to push the stop button. I loaned it out to a friend, one series at a time, she was the same, pulled an 'all nighter'. Now she is waiting for me buy Series 3.Read full review
