This is a great item - enhances the sound of our LED flat screen TV. Fits unobtrusively in front of it and has a sleek design which draws comments. The surround sound and stereo features give us the improved sound we needed while watching films etc in our family room. Might not satisfy the needs of real audiophiles who can live with nothing less than a dozen speakers dotted around a room: but as an all-in-one unobtrusive bit of kit that gives a great sound boost to the inadequate TV speakers this does the job. This is a top drawer product. Really good sound with built-in sub-woofer which works really well on a chest. Not sure whether the sound would be so good if wall mounted, but would still look good. My gut feeling is it's a bit overpriced compared to other products, but Yamaha is worth paying for. Be sure you have an OPTICAL output on your TV as it doesn't have a scart input.
