Can't rate these DVDs highly enough. I bought the Sprinting DVD first (see other review) and recently added the Road Race, Climbing and Time Trial DVDs to the collection. i've tried out all sorts of spinning style videos over the years like the Chris Carmichael train right sessions, Epic Rides, Spinervals and the Sufferfest. 3LC is the new kid on the block. None of them have helped my cycling out more than the 3LC DVDs. I actually look forward to a session. They're incredibly well structured and are as hard as you make them. It feels like i have my own British cycling coaches in my living room! Once i'm back on the road after winter i know the 3LC training will pay off. The 2014 cycling season can't come quick enough for me! My advice would be to give it go. stick at it and use a selection of the DVDs together to add variation. They all compliment each other very well. A big thanks to 3LC for diving in and creating something different.Read full review
Just bought a new spinning bike and to be honest keeping motivation on static bikes is hard. Did 10 miles on it last week and seemed like 100. This dvd arrived and did the full hour and whizzed by. Surprising as it’s not a normal cycling dvd but it just works. Now ordered two more to get a bit of variation.

A challenging workout (of course, you can make it as challenging as you want as you're in charge of which gears you choose) but fun due to the banter between Mark Cavendish, Pete Kennaugh and the rest of the lads. Highly recommended.

I would definitely recommend this DVD to anyone who wants to improve their cycling and fitness. I, like many people I suspect, bought a turbo trainer to try and maintain my fitness over the winter but was finding it a bit dull and not really getting the results I was after. A friend recommended the 3LC series to me and I'm glad he did ! I have tried a few of this type of DVD's but these are easily the best I've found. I have done this one a few times now and I undoubtedly feel stronger and faster for it. I now realise that not only can I maintain my fitness over the winter, but with these DVD's I can make substantial gains and come out stronger for next season. This DVD is interval based training exactly as you would use in a road race. Amongst others there is a section of tempo riding with short bursts of high cadence just like you would when "crewing off". This is hard work but so is any training that yields results and you can knock it down a gear or two if it's too hard. One tip, don't start off in too high a gear to begin with because your soon up at very high cadences !Read full review
Just transitioned from a mountain bike to the road bike this year and wanted to keep my fitness up through the winter, bought a turbo trainer didn't know where to go from that then a friend loaned me a 3 LC DVD, from here I was hooked and purchased all four of the DVD's. Really good instruction, great countdown feature along with being able to see what is coming up next. Also good crack listening to the other cyclists while working. Excellent stretching features with each dvd. If your an expert or a beginner to the turbo trainer these DVD's are well worth the money, a wealth of experience from the instructors as well as the cyclists involved.
