I bought this as an experiment in smart tv use and also replacement for an old CRT television. Compared with the CRT I was blown away by the HD side of the TV I do find that when credits are rolling with out a picture the text dims but that's fine with me. The smart side is great for catch up in TV size rather than a laptop but you need to download the app for ease of entering details with any speed for browsing etc..
