Sturdy, compact, not too heavy and feels good to handle. Just done some light drilling and "screwdivering" so far but battery time is good with fairly quick charging and with having two batteries it makes it even more flexible in terms if time use. Good sturdy case but I think it would have been better with some sponge to keep things secure when the lid is closed. Probably the only disappointing thing is that it came with a solitary double ended screwdriver bit .... I think the boat could gave been pushed out to include at least a 6 piece rack of different sizes.

I have always used Bosch or Makita tools. The last Makita 18v drill I had, was three speed and was excellent. This one is two speed and not very much use at all. O K for drilling wood but not good for drilling even 5.5mm holes in brick.

Ive used several combi screwdrivers/drills over the years and this is the best its very powerful considering the small size. its got quite a slim grip that can be held and controled easily compaired with a few others ive used. the battries charge quickly and give a audible alert when charged, for price its unbeatable from FFX although its gone up slightly but still good value.

As a kitchen fitter I have used many different cordless drills, but Makita has always outperformed all others . Fast recharge is Brill, light and easy to use.
