Additional Information
TITANIC, James Cameron's massive blockbuster, stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet as young lovers aboard the ill-fated voyage. A mysterious nude sketch found in the wreckage of the Titanic leads to the tale of its subject, the now-elderly Rose DeWitt Bukater (Winslet). As her story begins, Rose is 17 and vacationing aboard the "unsinkable" ship with her unctuous, moneyed fiance (Billy Zane). However, she soon falls for Jack Dawson (DiCaprio), a free-spirited artist and third-class passenger. Their romance moves quickly--until the huge luxury liner slams into an iceberg. Soon Rose, Jack, and everyone onboard the sinking ship are all struggling to stay alive. TITANIC had the potential to be the biggest bomb in film history, but, as everyone knows, the movie became the highest-grossing motion picture ever and a worldwide phenomenon. Perhaps it's the spectacular special effects or the chemistry of its attractive stars or the romantic heart of the story. Regardless of what makes it work, the film is big budget entertainment with an undeniable appeal for just about anyone.

First of I would like to mention that Titanic is one of the best movies ever created on cinemas and back in 1999 almost everybody was talking about it. It is based on real events about how the ''unsinkable'' RMS Titanic did eventually sink on the bottom of the ocean, and how and why most of its passengers died in that tragic event. The RMS Titanic was the most technologally advance ship for it's time and one of the biggest ships ever created but the bad commandership and the cocky minds of some rich people lead it to it's death among it's passengers. Leonardo Dicaprio and Kate Winslet's acts are fantastic making you feel that you are actualy on that ship all those years ago and make you feel that true love which is very rare in our times can really exist. Also I really liked the way the old lady (Kate Winslet plays the role of that old lady when she was young and survived the titanic sink) tells the story. You will also see the ship on the pottom of the ocean at the bigging of the movie when the robot trie's to find that drawing they were looking for and I really liked that part. However there are a few bad thinks since every movie has it's fault's but they don't spoil the movie. It is a must seen and I rate it 8.9/10.Read full review
As I say this film is brilliant in every way, I must have been one of the only people who never saw it at the time, so it was special for me to see this film. Kate & Leo were really good in both of their roles, Kate is a real beauty, the story & the special effects were very good, as was the sound & photography. A film so well worth seeing, the sort of film you want to see again & wished you could have been in! The Titanic tragedy was awful & very sad & should never have happened, but it did & I'm sure that it will be remembered forever!!! Many thanks!!!
I realised recently that somehow I did not have this film as part of my collection and really wanted to watch it again, a couple of days later and I’m crying my eyes out like a baby. I love this film so much.
A very good movie. The ladies in the family enjoy this movie no matter how many times they watch it. Buying this DVD will save a lot of money spent on theatre seats.
