this is one hell of a genius work from Tom Hanks, although I have to agree with another review which says that "this movie starts off strong, but finishes on shaky grounds". The characters, some qwirky are all great to watch, and I'm quite sure you will fall in love with Liv Tyler in the show as I did. My favourite little bit of the show is when they make it big and do their performances all over the country - the dream of every musician - it's somewhat inspiring to think that an ordinary garage band could make it big. Although I must say this is probably not the type of show you will watch for an excellent storyline - come on, we all know what's gonna happen right? .....and they lived happily ever after...
This film takes you back to the REAL music era, one hit wonders of the 60's and 70's. good music, good feelings, good times. I AM SPARTACUS
