Good value for money CD, covering the Wurzels songbook from the witty "Shepton Mallet Matador" and "Common Market comes to Stanton Drew" through to the brilliant version of Oasis's "Dont look back in Anger" listen out for the sheep? . Highly recommended for Wurzel fans everywhere.
I've always liked the Wurzels and have a few items of theirs, including the original 'Combine Harvester' 7" single. But after going to see them play near Evershot in Dorset this year, I decided to buy their updated (2007) CD. I just love the whole CD, it is great. Great songs, some old & some new.
Love The Wurzels, so do my 2 boys and they are only 9 and 5, my 9 year old has seen them live a couple of times, they are amazing live. the cd is great, a mixture of the old stuff, some new cover versions that can also be found on Never mind the Bullocks. Never doubted i would like the cd as they can do no wrong.
I bought The Wurzels Greatest Hits CD because they are a fantastic group and i had one of the same CD but it broke because i listened ti them to much!!
