Having read A Streetcat Named Bob myself I felt that my 13yr old granddaughter would like the story but without the profanities & more gruesome details. This adaptation makes a great present for the younger reader, with the added bonus of some lovely colour photos in the centre pages (wish we had those in the adult version too) I would highly recommend it for the next cat loving generation. It is also a good insight for this generation of readers, demonstrating how easy it is to fall off the narrow path of life & the struggle that street life brings, which will hopefully give them more empathy with those less fortunate than ourselves. So, a good book for lots of reasons

I like the fact it is a true story and it has coloured photos of the real person and cat which I love.

Bob was never an ordinary cat, he seemed so wise and so tuned into his owner James. Together they have given so much inspiration to others
