This story was written before i was born, but i have seen the film on numerous occasions, and i decided to read it as i consider Frank Herbert to be "one of the Classics" of my preferred genre. I was worried it would be slow and overly detailed, but this book is great! The story is detailed but without tedium and it flows well. It's not one of those lightweight books you get through in one or two sittings. I'm now considering buying the next one in the series. Read this if you are a sci-fi-fantasy fan, no matter your age!

I am a slow reader but there is more in the book then the film but is so compelling and you want to know what happens next so without further ado l will continue it a shame they don't make a upto date movie who knows maybe one day
