these EBC HH pads are a genuine upgrade over the standard Tokiko pads as they have a higher friction It probably about 20-25% more than basic organic pads and about 10-15% more bite than the Tokiko HH pads it translates to an improvement you can feel but is not so harsh that it makes it hard to control the modulation of the braking force. a set of EBC HH pads is about £20-25 per side at the front for this price they are a good addition, I find for general fast road/commuting rear pads aren't worth the upgrade to HH because its quite easy to lock up the rear wheel with the standard organic compound pads if you do trackdays then HH pads may be for you to avoid brake fade.

Have not fitted them yet, but the rear EBC rear pads I brought for my V-strom, did not fit well, and resulted in damage to the stainless steel anti-squeal shims. I had to remove them, and grind a mm off in one area. Hopefully these will be a better fit.

I can strong recommend these brake pads, I had use on my previous bike-xj6 and existing v-strom. More precise braking, at leasr 40% stronger than factory ones. I was really positively surprised after installation and constant use. Now I can feel my brakes. Pads are not cheap but my safety is the most important. Don’t save money where you shouldn’t.

Pants of the seat impression is that they bite better, but I had my lever set too soft on the stock pads...

Awesome upgrade, rebuilt 1999 Sv 650 brakes and used these pads. Stoppies are easily achieved now! Cheers guys.
