Absoulutley amazing account of United 93, the plane that did not hit its target. Everything in the film was just brilliant and the ending is intense. A MUST WATCH FOR EVERYONE!!!
This is the story of the fourth plane to be hi-jacked by the al-Qaeda on September 11th 2001, the drama is told with a great deal of skill in a documentary style by the writer and director Paul Greengrass. This is the only flight that was hi-jacked that day that did not reach its target because the passengers chose to fight back instead of being told with gung-ho gusto; the director has shown a great deal of restraint and with the use of hand-held cameras for the action of the revolt by the passengers the sense urgency and panic is conveyed to the audience for heart in the mouth climax with have you on the edge of your seat. This is a fitting tribute to the brave souls who lost their lives that and a stunning piece of modern cinema, essential viewing.
The film should never have been made Really the events should never have happened in the first place , it was brave of the producer and writers to make this film and I am glad they did the people on the plane and ground handled it the best they could in a bad situation did it with class and dignity the film is hard to watch at times the bonus documentary will have you crying so warm so touching and gives you an insight as to what the family are going through 911 should never have happened glad this film did it shows us the normal civilised can pull together when we need to and do it with class .... must see
