Want the best of John Lennon post the Beatles break up and before he went mellow/"mushy" when living in USA? Then this is the album for you (and far better than the later Yoko Ono selected releases!) All the great hit singles from the late 60s to early 70s that were never on LP; the hit tracks off his first two solo LPs plus the few good tracks off his later LPs that were all such a disappointment ("Woman is the nigger of the world": Whatever gets you through the night": "Mind Games"; and "#9 Dream") - what is there not to like? I would have loved to have had included the last great rocker track that he wrote "New York City" and the full version of "Give peace a chance" rather than the edited version included, but since this LP was released in Lennon's lifetime assume this release had his approval.
