The picture is nice and bright but turn down the lights in the room and try watching in low light levels or in the dark and you will see a nasty glow coming from the corners and edges, also when watching in 4.3 with blck bands down the sides you will see the backlight bleeding round the edges and flashlighting from the corners, you never get a true black on screen either its a sorty of cloudy patchy black. With the price of this tv i expect it not to glow from the corners and be able to display black. This set also suffers from motion bluring, recent firmware updates have not fixed this. The 3d effect is ok but suffers from crosstalk and will give you a hheadache after a short while. I bought 10 of these tvs all being faulty with differing problems or combination of problems.production problems design flaws and a huge price tag make this a tv to avoid. Buy A panasonic VT30 plasma it blows this out of the water.Read full review
As we have BT Vision I wanted a tv that had a great picture for standard definition. Previously we had an LG flat screen. This TV makes even standard definition look like it's HD! It took about a week before my eyes adjusted to the quality of the picture and we stopped saying 'wow' everytime we watched it! We haven't used many of the features or the 3D yet as these were not really of interest to us. That aside, I would highly recommended this TV.
