It does what it's supposed to. Took me nearly a day to get a good sharp drill bit. That cuts effectively when used in a drill press. The instructions are not much use, more pictures would better . This is a learning curve to use, YouTube has videos on using this tool. I tried it on the face of the grinder, it did not cut well. Use the side of the wheel , with better results, against HSE guide lines . You need plenty of patients .

The device woukd work best on the flat face of a grindng wheel. Health and Safety regs advise that only the circumference of a wheel should be used. To follow theisinstruction means that the device would have to be repositioned and adjusted individualy for almost every size of druill and also repositioned as the wheel wears down This makes the device useless in real workshop conditions...

A useful device but not 100%. The small guide strip that fits in the flute of drills didn't hold the drill in the correct alignment for sharpening. I tried various adjustments but ended up removing it and setting the drill manually by eye. Once I had worked out the right flute position the device then worked consistently over various drill sizes giving the correct sharp edges and clearance angles.
