I was concerned about the melting of the chocolate, but using boiling water in the vat and melting chocolate made it super easy. Cutting foil is also easy. It is a bit small and fiddly for adult fingers though. Cool present, but in the end, my son really just wanted to eat chocolate no matter the presentation

The product was brand new as described. It was a birthday present for my 7 year old nephew. He and my children had lots of fun making (and eating!!) their gold coins. The chocolate melted easily and they were able to spoon it into the moulds. They chose designs for their coins (there were a variety so both the boys and girls were happy). They enjoyed turning the handle to wrap the chocolate in the golden foil.
