If you liked the Marr and Morrissey penned classics of the Smiths indie inspirers supreme. Then you will like this album from Morrissey "Bona Drag" some songs that didnt make it on to his past albums; like "HairDresser on Fire" which is a gem intelligent song. "SuedeHead" is great with what sounds like Rourke's bass sounds in it. Will Never Marry" which to this day Morrissey hasnt, sounds like him telling his future. Stephen Street produced some of the tracks which give it that raw edge.
There is nothing to complain about with this album, it is spectacular, I might be biased as I completely love everything Morrissey has produced, The Smiths are one of my all time favorites. I recommend this as a starter album for anyone, wanting a classic collection of sublime hits such as 'Playboys' 'Suedehead' and of course 'Everyday is like Sunday'. What's not to love?
The best Morrissey compilation album.Don't bother with any others of this time. Not a weak track on the album,I especially like he 'He knows...' Morrissey at his finest.
